Campfire is an operations and activity management platform designed for Tzofim youth groups and similar organizations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users regarding their data.
By using Campfire, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
We collect information that is necessary to provide and operate the Campfire platform.
When you create or sign in to a Campfire account, including through Google sign-in, we may collect: email address, name and optional username, profile image provided by the authentication provider, and authentication credentials, session data, and security tokens.
To support group operations, Campfire collects: Shevet and grade memberships, roles, permissions, and role configurations, and invitations and access controls.
When you use Campfire to plan and manage activities, we collect: activity outlines, blocks, related content, comments, discussion threads, feedback, activity snapshots, revision history, and shared activities.
Authorized users may manually enter participant information for organizational use, which may include attendance records, participant names, grade assignments, and optional notes such as allergies or special considerations. This information is visible only within the relevant organization, subject to role-based access controls.
If enabled by the organization, Campfire may store inventory and supply lists, budget allocations, and expense records. Campfire does not process or store payment card information.
Campfire includes AI-powered tools to assist with activity planning. User-provided input may be processed to generate suggestions, summaries, or drafts. AI features are assistive in nature and do not replace human decision-making.
We use collected information to provide, operate, and maintain the platform, enable collaboration, support activity planning and logistics, generate AI suggestions, send notifications, and improve performance.
Health-related notes, such as allergies, are used solely for internal organizational reference to support participant safety. They are not used for analytics, advertising, diagnosis, or medical decision-making. Campfire does not sell personal data.
We share information only within the same organization based on roles, with service providers that help operate the platform, or when required by law. Campfire does not share data for advertising purposes.
We retain information for as long as an account or organization remains active, or as necessary to provide the service. Authorized users may delete content according to organizational policies.
Users may delete their account at any time through the Account Settings page in either the mobile or web application. Upon deletion, your personal account information, profile data, login credentials, and session data will be permanently removed from our active databases.
Campfire is a team-based, collaborative platform where multiple users contribute to shared activities, plans, and organizational records. To ensure continuity for your organization and team members, collaborative content you created, such as activity editors, peulot, comments, and shared library items, will be preserved after account deletion.
This preservation is essential because other team members may depend on this content for ongoing operations. Deleting shared work could disrupt your organization's ability to access important plans, schedules, and historical records. When your account is deleted, this content will no longer be associated with your personal identity and will appear as created by a former team member.
If you need specific content removed, please contact your organization administrator or reach out to us directly before deleting your account.
Campfire is designed as an organizational operations tool. Information related to participants is entered manually by users for internal reference only. Campfire does not target children as individual users and does not knowingly collect personal data from children for independent use.
Campfire uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS). Authentication and authorization are enforced at the application level by the backend.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
